Electrical tests

• Insulation resistance, polarization index and dielectric absorption ratio of:
• Stator winding.
• Rotor winding.
• Main exciter stator winding.
• PMG stator winding.

Inspection and verifications

• Electrical connections of three phase rotating rectifier bridge.
• Connections of main exciter, PMG and rotor winding.
• RTDs, thermocouples, current transformers, and space heaters.
• Generator foot shims and clamp.
• Cleaning of main terminals and generator cables.
• Cleaning of the generator compartment and connection box.

Heat run commissioning tests

• Bearings temperatures.
• Windings temperatures.
• Air flow temperatures.
• Bearing vibration levels.
• Voltage and current balance.
